Before & After

The LAST 26 months (since April 2021) since beginning renovations of Fairy Tale Fire Fly Farm, HAS been stressful, successful, exhausting, exhilarating, raging, radiant, hurtful, happy, chaos, cherishing, and just about any other emotion you can think of... sigh.  We weren't sure we'd make it through it alive... SERIOUSLY.  SIGH.  Difficult and Delightful... HARD work and heartache yet, Happiness and Love.  I myself, am GRATEFUL for all WE have accomplished at Our Farm!!

We not only did a great deal of renovations and repairs from April 2021 through May 2022, we also made MANY Improvements as well.   Our Farm needed SO MUCH.  It had been vacant for at least 16 years (since hurricane Katrina we were told).   Improvements/ Repairs include:  New Metal Roof,  New Natural Gas lines (replacing old propane ones), New HVAC unit, New and Repaired Water Lines, New Appliances, New Natural Gas Remote Fireplace in the Living Room, New Natural Gas Space Heaters, All Rebuilt Toilet Tank Flushing Mechanisms, New Back Steps, New Electrical Wiring through the Main House, and much of the outbuildings, garages, etc. New Electrical Receptacles through out main House and out buildings, garages, etc.  Not to mention leveling the entire House Foundation and rebuilding an entire floor in one bedroom, while repairing ceilings in several rooms.  I think it took a thousand gallons of Behr Paint to paint it all! LOL
